Established in 1994, the Camino Book Barn

is located in the heart of Apple Hill, in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Northern California, east of Placerville (Old Hangtown). It's not far from Coloma, (the gold discovery site), on the famous "Pony Express Trail". Each year the Pony Express riders switch horses in front of our store during the yearly re-enactment of their historic ride. The Book Barn offers an assortment of used books and, periodically, will highlight best selling authors for special sales. We promote Natural and Native American Horsemanship via Roundpen Magic.com, and offer links to various horse related sites, as well as, places you're familiar with, like 'The Discovery Channel', 'Hallmark', and 'The Sierra Club'.
